0:10 Many different answers to this. What weekend are we talking about?

0:30 So in January, you can be more aggressive. In bold markets, you can be more aggressive, holding stocks long. Three out of four stocks follow the market.

1:00 I like inefficiencies in the stock market where maybe good news comes out late on a Friday afternoon and because it’s a Friday afternoon, many people have already left for the weekend.

1:30 If anybody buys more than five percent of a stock, they have to actually put out an SEC filing. So sometimes, this news comes out late on a Friday or after hours on Friday.

2:00 It’s an anticipatory run-up, where people are getting excited about a future event. That can work very well over the weekend. You know, my biggest, first 100,000 dollar gain when I was a freshman in college, I bought the stock on a Friday. They said they were gonna be on TV on Sunday.*

2:30 The news was very positive, and I sold, and I made over 100,000 dollars. Now it’s a little riskier. That was back in the year 2000 when all the news was positive, and tech stocks were just surging.*

2:40 Every situation is unique. Every company, every sector, every market, this stuff is all unique. So I encourage you to watch my trader checklist guide.

3:15 You have to take it one trade at a time, no one trade or one rule fits all. I know you guys wanted it to be simple like that. That’s not the way the stock market works.

* Results may not be typical and may vary from person to person. Making money trading stocks takes time, dedication, and hard work. There are inherent risks involved with investing in the stock market, including the loss of your investment. Past performance in the market is not indicative of future results. Any investment is at your own risk. See Terms of Service here: https://www.timothysykes.com/terms-of-service/
