Soybeans? More like joybeans after this trade (yikes). Calendar spreads in a single futures product are great, and trading them in two products can be double the excitement. In this episode of “Closing the Gap,” Pete Mulmat explains a pairs trade in /CL (crude oil) and /ZL (soybean oil). These products are pretty highly correlated in the long-term, and thus they can be used in tandem for a pairs trade, buying /CL in Sept. and selling /ZL in Dec. Pete takes us through the rationale of the trade, the deltas associated with each contract, and the capital required to put it on.

no context perspective from seasonals tying to the general index and no examples made as a trade. this is only text book information and your wasting the visual space and opportunity to show people how it is actually done
