Across almost every valuation metric, the 2021 stock market is trading at much higher valuation multiples than we’ve seen for some time. While there are several positive catalysts such as low interest rates and elevated liquidity, there is real concern that the top may already be here. This video projects how far my stocks will far (based on PE and EPS data) if we see a market crash in 2021.

Is SQ Stock Overvalued?

Jenna S says:

I was going to sell PYPL at a 55% profit and got a reply that said it was a huge mistake. He recommended I absolutely keep PYPL.

tylr says:

Where do you see ETSYs price landing after they report earnings on 2/25?

Jenna S says:

I looked at so many hot or popular stocks from MSFT, SQ, BIDU, etc and they are all way way over valued. Seems like a fake upswing like we had in dot com year. Everyone threw $ at tech stocks because they were running up and making the news. This environment is that but times 10. It is dot com but on steroids. Seems like not a 50% crash of dot com but 80% crash ? This will wipe me out because I have over $800K in stocks if you include my 401K. Is this the titanic ? thanks.

William Tan says:

Good approach…

RJ7 says:

Interesting take Jeff!

wakeupusers says:

Don't know if it's just me but with a free account in Yahoo Finance statistics I can't browse the past like you have done, I can only see current date.

Is there any other place you know we can get this info, a lot more sites have historical PE but not Forward PE. For Paypal it shows PE around 48 in December 2018.

Cameron Hackney says:

Do you plan on selling on any of your positions to take short term gains? I'm trying to decide if its in the cards since it is somewhat inevitable for a crash to occur.

Hendreh1 says:

Does the market crash today? #Great recession?

Dandy Finance says:

Waiting for PYPL to go under $138… one eternity later: still waiting… Thanks for the insights!

Don’t think we will have a crash this year because of fiscal stimulus and 0% fed rate, we might have a little correction max up to 10%, but like usual nobody can predict anything

Алексей Гайдаш says:

As always great video and solid opinion, let’s follow and see further

Alyosha Petrov says:

Sobering stuff. Worth considering.

caleb honey says:

We really don’t know if the correction will be within this year. I believe it is, but it could definitely be 2022 or 2023 or later. Impossible to know.

caleb honey says:

This is basically the worst possibly scenario. Realistically I’d be shocked if we saw any of these companies dropping more than 20% in a broad market crash. 50%+ for PYPL seems ridiculous. At that point, I sell my car, and everything else I own to buy in.

Võ Khang says:

I Dont know when market going to crash but palantir crash today down 10%. 20% in the last one week . I’m just started my position and going to buy more if it dip further.

RTR says:

Great video. I’ve been holding out on buying to preserve cash for a pullback. I’m waiting for MELI and PiNs to slow down.

Bobby Delong says:

Smart! Thanks for the great video.

Jordan Ziolkowski says:

Loss… loss… BIG loss…. … and a loss.

Peter Muller says:

Nice video , I think the 2020 pandemic has taught people the importance of multiple streams of incomes unfortunately having a job doesn't mean security.. Investment is the way now if you really want financial freedom..
